ACRO Governance Board minutes
ACRO Strategic Management minutes
ACRO's annual reports are a review of our work and achievements during the year. They include our accounts for the period, providing an overview of income and expenditure.
Information sharing agreements
The agreements establish the lawful basis for ACRO to disclose information from the PNC to individual non-police prosecution agencies as part of our PNC services. Each agreement indicates the agency’s status, i.e. whether it is a competent authority, as listed in schedule 7 of the Data Protection Act, or whether it is a general processor.

Section 22a Agreement
This is a collaborative agreement, signed by the chief officers and police and crime commissioners of UK forces, which allows ACRO to undertake the work we do. This ensures ACRO focuses on its purpose of safer communities in the UK and worldwide.
ACRO’s role in administering Covid-19 fixed penalty notices
The following agreements detail the lawful basis for ACRO to administer fixed penalty notices issued under coronavirus legislation, on behalf of police forces in England and Wales:
ACRO FPN ISA - England
ACRO FPN ISA - Wales
ACRO FPN ISA - Ministry of Defence Police
ACRO FPN ISA - British Transport Police
Chief officers' expenses
These reports detail expense reimbursements made to ACRO chief officers (the chief executive and the head of ACRO). Expenses are reimbursed when they have been necessarily incurred by the officers while exercising their duties. Hospitality is given to help policing business, or when it is considered desirable as a matter of courtesy or protocol. The reports are updated through the year.
Expenditure over £500
These reports detail payments that exceed £500. Any significant spend is formally tendered and assessed for value for money in compliance with Hampshire Constabulary procurement policies. The reports are updated through the year.
The step-down model establishes the guidelines for how we filter convictions in the preparation of Police Certificates and International Child Protection Certificates.
